LexPhil and Origins Jazz Series have partnered to present the LexPhil Listening Room: Mary D. Watkins next Monday, November 18 at Institute 193.

From well known to extremely rare, join LexPhil Music Director Mélisse Brunet as she takes us through her private record collection of Mary D. Watkins works spanning the composer's entire career. Born in 1939, Watkins is a living American composer and pianist known for blending classical, jazz, and opera that often explores the African American experience and social justice themes.
